Yes, all custom work requires a non refundable deposit.
Gun Metal Rifles are usually in stock but we build and inspect them on an as needed basis. Please allow about 3-5 days before item ships. We only ship firearms to validated FFLs. Please have the information ready after purchase and use contact information where you are readily reachable. One of our team members will contact you. We will then make contact with the FFL. We won't ship until all the information has been confirmed.

If purchasing a NFA (class 3) item, please contact the ATF to inquire about their form processing times.
We ship all firearms using UPS, fully insured and adult signature required. Firearms are only shipped to valid FFLs. All other items are shipped using the best carrier. All orders usually ship within 2 to 3 business days.

Due to the constant changing laws it is impossible for us to keep up with individual state laws. It is up to our customers to verify anything bought from Gun Metal Inc. is legal to purchase, own, and/or use in their respective states. Items returned due to not meeting local laws will be charged a 75% restocking fee.
No. This is not considered a mil spec process. Also, it is considered permanent. Most of our customers like the ability to change features down the road.
